Founded in 1958 by grandfather in a small rented shop, Janta Timber and Furniture began with very limited resources but immense determination. In 1969, the business expanded by acquiring a second-hand sawmill set up on rented land for ₹100 per month. However, financial struggles made even this modest rent challenging.
By 1976, grandfather sourced wood directly from farmers in nearby villages. In 1978, a ₹5,000 bank loan marked a turning point, stabilizing operations and fueling growth.
